NINE STUDENTS GRADUATE IN QURAN READING IN ADJUMANI DISTRICT.

ADJUMANI DISTRICT, UGANDA — Nine students have successfully completed a Quran-reading programme and received certificates in a graduation ceremony held in Adjumani District.
The event, attended by parents, local leaders and members of the community, celebrated the achievements of the students who spent months learning and memorizing chapters of the Holy Quran.
Addressing the graduates, Sheikh Rashid Kelele Yunus, the District Khadi under the Kibuli Supreme Mufti, who oversaw the programme said, “Today we mark a significant milestone in your Islamic education. May your knowledge guide you and benefit your families and our community.”
Zainab Nasur, one of the parents praised the initiative, saying, “This graduation is a proud moment for all of us. We thank the teachers for their dedication and the students for their hard work.”
The ceremony included recitations from the Quran by the graduates themselves, showcasing their proficiency and commitment to religious studies.
Local religious leaders encouraged the young graduates to continue learning and to use their knowledge to promote peace, unity and respect within the district.
The event reflects ongoing efforts in Adjumani to support youth education in both secular and religious disciplines.
